Australia's website. In May 2004, Mental Health
Australia celebrated 5 years of supporting mental health and
community service professionals. Over the past
five years we have supported large numbers of health
professionals and their families through our counselling
clinics, online resources and evidence based education.
Over the past twelve months
Mental Health Australia has achieved a number of significant
milestones and highlights including...

Delivery of Australia's
only accredited
Intensive Training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy

Assisting indigenous
athletes Allan Murray and Xavier Clarke in forming the
Unity
Foundation

Working in partnership
with the
Lighthouse Foundation,
Unity
Foundation,
Behavioral Tech,
Ambit Insights,
Bendigo & District Division of General Practice,
Civerex,
Department of Human Services (Vic),
Occupational Services Australia and
Healthology.
In 2006 we will be offering
more evidence based training in Dialectal
Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive
Behaviour Therapy. In addition, Mental Health
Classifieds and Health Professional Directory websites will be
re-launched from mid November 2005. These websites
provide an excellent
cost effective medium for health professionals to advertise
their services and
resources on the web.
