Mental Health Australia is a private company, owned by Mental Health Professionals. Since beginning as a private psychology practice in Bendigo, Victoria (Garsed Street Clinic), Mental Health Australia Pty Ltd has grown into an innovative organization offering a full complement of professional services to health professionals.   We remain consistently committed to our original vision – getting results for individuals and their employers by delivering skilled and compassionate services from expert clinicians.

In order to attract and retain highly qualified staff in the mental health and wellbeing field, Mental Health Australia provides quality year-round training, consultancy and clinical resources that meet not only the employment needs of health professionals, but registration needs as well.

Our primary motivation is to ensure that mental health and wellbeing staff are properly trained, supported and equipped to perform the necessary and daily tasks.

To achieve this unique level of commitment, we insist on:

·         Using only registered, post-graduate educated psychologists, family therapists, social workers & mental health nurses with at least 5 years experience in the industry to deliver psychological services, employee assistance programs and professional development workshops 

·         Certifying clinicians annually to maintain the highest quality network of mental health professionals in the industry

·         Selecting only those mental health professionals who have under no circumstances been found guilty and who have never committed any ethical violations

This unique approach makes our range of programs more valuable to both health care services and health professionals and their families.
